About the Tool
Malware is nothing but code written specifically for the purpose of infecting the hard drives of computers or internet portals. It could even exist in the form of self-installing software or downloadable files. Google Malware Checker helps a webmaster know whether or not a potentially dangerous malware is embedded in a particular website.
How the Tool Works
Google Malware Checker contains a single field and a “Submit” button. Enter the URL of your website in the field. The tool opens up a separate Google Transparency Report window with the Site Status option highlighted. The malware status of the URL is displayed here. The user is free to browse the other options in the Transparency Report window as well.
The most obvious use the Google Malware Checker is to check whether or not malware exists on your or any other website.
